I have been to many places in my life, but the one that stands out the most is my trip to Beijing, China. I went there with my family when I was in sixth grade. We visited the famous landmarks like the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and the Tiananmen Square.
The Great Wall was amazing. It was built over 2,000 years ago and it stretches over 13,000 kilometers long. I couldn't believe how impressive it was and I felt so proud to be able to see it in person.
The Forbidden City was also incredible. It has over 9000 rooms and was the home of the Chinese emperors. We saw so many interesting things there, like ancient artifacts and beautiful palace gardens.
Tiananmen Square is a huge square in the center of Beijing. We saw a flag-raising ceremony there, which was a powerful experience.
I loved my trip to Beijing and I learned so much about Chinese history and culture. It was a trip I will never forget.
