My New Friend
Last week, I met a new friend at school. Her name is Lily and she comes from a small town near ours. She is eleven years old just like me, and she loves playing soccer and drawing cartoons.
Lily is very friendly and outgoing. She has a warm smile and a great sense of humor. We got along really well from the moment we met. She tells me about her family, her hobbies, and her favorite subjects at school. I enjoy listening to her stories and learning about her culture.
We spent our first afternoon together at the park, playing soccer and taking turns drawing pictures. It was so much fun! I'm looking forward to spending more time with her and exploring our shared interests.
Having a new friend like Lily has brightened up my life. I can't wait to see where our friendship takes us in the future.
