Giving Directions
One day, I was walking home from school when I saw a lost tourist on the street. He looked confused and didn't know which way to go. As a responsible citizen, I decided to help him find his way.
First, I approached the tourist and greeted him warmly. Then I asked him where he wanted to go. He showed me a map and pointed to a famous landmark in our city. I was familiar with the place, so I began giving him clear directions.
I told the tourist to walk straight ahead for two blocks until he reached a big intersection. Then, he needed to turn left and continue walking for about five minutes. Finally, he would see the landmark on his right. To make sure he wouldn't get lost again, I drew a simple sketch of the route and handed it to him.
The tourist thanked me profusely and said he wouldn't have found his way without my help. I felt really proud of myself for making a difference and assisting someone in need.
This experience taught me the importance of helping others and being kind. It doesn't require much effort to offer assistance, and it can make a significant impact on someone's day.
